HEELA through its members’ network, volunteers and consultants engages youth and women led organizations of Pakistan for improving their knowledge, skills and competencies to address to the issues and development needs of their respective communities on more proactive basis. HEELA is working since 2013, however, formally registered under the Trusts Act 1882 with Registrar, Islamabad Federal Government in February 2016. It has played an instrumental role in providing relief, psycho-social support, education and basic health services to the internally displaced persons (IDPs) of South and North Waziristan agencies in selected localities of KP and former FATA. Most of the HEELA’s activities were carried out D I khan, Tank and Peshawar districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa without any formal funding support. We started small and focused but are committed to grow strategically in the future expanding our outreach.
